The Boosters are selling a CD of photos taken by Marty Morris (MPM Photography) at Evening On Broadway this year. They will be on sale before or after the Holiday Concert for $15, cash or check (made payable to CHS Choir Boosters).

Holiday Concert

A reminder about our Holiday Concert from Mrs. Hill!

WHEN:  Monday, Dec. 12th

TIME:  7:00 pm

WHERE:  CHS Auditorium

ADMISSION FREE

UNIFORMS and this is a GRADED concert for students.

CALL TIME FOR STUDENTS IS 6:45 pm in the CHOIR ROOM

Kendall Elementary and South Choirs will also be performing, so we are expecting a large crowd to celebrate the season in song.

Those of you who sponsored for EOB and received reserve seating for this, please look for it in the center floor section.

Caroling Opportunities

The Holiday Season is upon us in full force!  We have several opportunities in the next few days to go and carol.  The students know about these and many have signed up, so I felt you might like to know about them as well:)

CHRISTMAS PARTY  - Friday, Dec. 2, 7:30 - 8 pm.
We will stand out in their yard like true carolers as the guests come in.

EMC Caroling - Saturday, Dec. 3, 9 am
Meet at the back of the school in the bus loop - we will ride a bus to 2415 Winding View in Stone Oak.  EMC has been our sponsors for several years, and this is a way to repay their generosity and spread good cheer.

Champion High School was well-represented in this past weekend's TMEA Region 29 Choir Clinic and Concert at Marshall High School. Mrs. Hill directed the choir in one of its pieces.

To supplement the fundraising efforts of Evening on Broadway, please come prepared to support the raffle with generous prizes from amazing sponsors. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase both nights before and after the event. Tickets will be sold for $10 each or six for $50, cash or checks payable to Champion Choir Boosters.  There will be two raffle packages awarded:

Region Choir Auditions this Saturday

Who: Those who advanced from initial Phase auditions and voice parts that did not audition at Phase

• Original copies of music (6 pieces) with measures numbered
• Pencils to mark cuts
• Paper clips to mark music

Upcoming Broadway Shows at the Majestic

Mrs. Hill has tickets reserved for the following upcoming Broadway shows at the Majestic Theatre:

• Finding Neverland on May 7, 2017. Tickets are on sale now for $55.75. Mrs. Hill has 50 reserved for the show.
• Matilda on June 6, 2017.  Tickets on sale now for $53.50

These group tickets are great seats, so Mrs. Hill needs to pay for them by December 15. Please submit your check to her, made out to CHS CHOIR BOOSTERS.

Evening On Broadway Tickets On Sale

Evening on Broadway is just around the corner, and tickets go on sale today. Support your student and the fine arts program at Champion High School as the only fundraising event held by the choir.

Evening on Broadway is an elegant evening held on November 14 and 15 at the Eilan Resort and Spa. It includes dinner and Broadway entertainment performed by choir students. It is an evening special enough to make you think you have left San Antonio and landed in New York City! We hope you, your families and friends can attend the event.

If you want to purchase a ticket with a check, have your student get a ticket order form in the choir room and then return it to me at school. Tickets will also be sold during the concert next week.

Fall Concert Coming Up 10/20

FALL CONCERT- THIS IS A GRADED CONCERT

When: Oct. 20
Where: CHS Auditorium
Time: 7 pm
Call time for students: 6:45 pm
Dress: Uniform

All students have been assigned an uniform.  They need to pick it up from the Choir Room and bring it home.  They need to come dressed for the concert.
Girls need black low heeled shoes - no sandals or flip flops
Guys need black socks and black dress shoes

The concert will last about an hour.  We will also be set up to sell Evening on Broadway tickets.

This year's Spring Tour to England, Ireland, and Scotland still has seats available.  Enroll now because on Oct. 1st the price will go up about $150 per person.
